What a season 2038 was in Seattle after finishing 92-70 and making it to the Cartwright before falling to the eventual champions Edmonton. Since 2035 Seattle has averaged 91 wins per season with 1 division title and 3 playoff appearances a true model of consistency. We will look into 2039 for the Storm and try to forecast what this season holds.
Catcher
21 year old Francisco Salazar will be the starting Catcher and playing his first full season in Seattle. He had a very solid season his rookie year in Seattle and had a very impressive .396 OBP.
1B
Another youngster Vincent Vanderhugen is projected to win the 1B job but many wonder if DH would be his better position in the future. In only 112 games last season Vanderhugen hit a whopping 23 HR and had 78 RBI his bat is the real deal. But those 17 errors in only 112 starts is concerning.
2B
After losing Lloyd Braun to Atlantic City Seattle quickly signed Sean Maquire from Mexico City and Antonio Cruz from Las Vegas. As the opener is approaching the veteran Maquire seems to have a firm lead on the starting spot.
3B
Jose Cortes will be returning for his 2nd full season at the hot corner. Cortez swapped an amazing 59 SB on the leadoff spot for the Storm and with his ability to be a table setter he has found his home at the top of the lineup.
SS
Last season Ruberm Bordonhos started 77 games at SS and Jay Garrick started 48 games for the storm. Look for a similar type platoon situation this season at the SS position
LF
Returning to LF this season will be Michael Durham. The question with Durham is always can he stay healthy. Last season he appeared in 125 games and had a solid season.
CF
For the present time look for All Star John Hickman to start off in CF. He is better suited for the corner spots but his ability to play all 3 OF positions is incredibly valuable. One thing is for certain regardless of what position he actually plays Seattle will find a spot in the lineup for his bat every game. At some point in 2039 look for CF Ruben Rodriguez to debut in CF. He will start in AAA this season and depending how the season goes could get the call up.
RF
There is one guy you can’t keep off the bases in Seattle and that’s Lionel Crepin when you combine his 158 hits with his 114 walks it leads to a .413 OBP. Its safe to say Crepin will be your starting RF for the Storm.
SP
Ken Walter is one of the most dominating pitches in the BBA. He went 18-11 and pitched 253 Innings for Seattle last season. At only 25 years of age Seattle has their ace for many years
Hector Marquez will slide into the #2 spot in the rotation although he is a #1 on many teams. Marquez won 22 games for the storm last season in his first full season
Luther Summers will be the #3 for the Storm, he finished 15-11 with a 4.7 WAR season last year
After losing SP Julio Alicea to Atlantic City during FA look for the Storm to round out their rotation between Grodon Graves, Zoraide Anto , Sven Kahn, Shotaro Kawamura or Andrew Izatt. At some point San-pao Shang could also make an impact as he will begin the season in AAA so keep an eye open for him
Bullpen
The pen is anchored by Closer Jose Souza who had 23 saves last season
Summary
Folks this is a dangerous team in Seattle. With few holes in the lineup and a rotation that is dynamic in spots 1-3 nobody wants to face this team in the playoffs. As talented as this team is there is some concerns especially in the pitching staff. As dominating as the top 3 guys are the back end of the staff needs to get stabilized and the Storm is hoping someone can step up. Also the bullpen could possibly use another guy or two to stabilize that. Look for Seattle to go 90-72 in 2039 with another playoff appearance. This team is loaded with young promising players and will continue to be a force for a few more seasons.

Dangerous rotation and a fascinating offensive roster construction...Seattle’s my pick to make it to the Landis out of the Frick.

Re: Seattle Preview
Seattle seems like it's always ... sometimes sneakier good than others ... but always good.
Going to be hard to beat Edmonton, though.
Bottom line is that everyone's working hard in this division.

The combination of talent and youth is pretty potent. They're a force 10 gale, to be sure.
