I’d have loved to go for some position players but there just wasn’t anybody to touch Cole
If you need help trading that #1 overall pick, let me know. I've got plenty of recent experience, to include a knuckleballer.
I think it would be a real kings ransom if I were to even consider trading Cole, he’s looking like a generational pitcher. Of course if he fails off the cliff I know who to look for to dispose of him ;)
My fees are relatively cheap.

Teams with those "Kings Ransoms" can come asking for Warren. I'm sure he'll be available real soon! :D

so much good pitching at the top of the draft
I actually disagree, unless you are looking for bullpen pieces. Cole is about the only one that doesnt seem to have any "buts..." tied to him. Even with Turner for me - I went with the lower movement/higher control guy over Warren's lower stamina/lower velo, but it wasnt the easy choice.

I'll reserve my comments on the other guys until after they get drafted.

Considering the drafts we've had, I can see Lane's point. But can also see Brett's as well. The interesting thing about the draft is what does the GM value. I was sold on Warren after I saw him but was hesitant about certain things (stamina and Velo obviously). There were several other ways I could have gone as well and either been fine or screwed it up depending on development. This could be an interesting draft to look back at in 5-7 years just because of the diversity of the pitchers and what they offer.

I liked Rasmussen as well but have it stuck in my head now we need at least 7 MO from pitchers due to the ratings change.

You might want to rename him "Old King."

Of course we all evaluate SPs differently, but of the 6 pitches e taken so far, I see 5 top of the rotation guys.

So I think that guy might be the replacement for Dave Martin.
