With the 4th pick the Montreal Blazers select SS Henri Charriere from the Manila Sharks (HS).
I was torn between him and another SS. But Charriere stats from this season and his baserunning and fielding abilities won out.

Ok, so can someone explain something to me? The guy I just took in Round 6, Bill Griffiths, shows a 0/6 Knuckle Curve in S+. In OOTP, he doesn't show the Knuckle Curve at all. Screenshots below. People who know stuff about this - come hither and enlighten me!

Grellan Profit has had a hidden 0/10 Forkball since before I signed him in 2033. At the time there were 3-4 other pitchers who had a hidden pitch. One was a promising starter in the Nashville system(Galinda?) who lumped out and another was a fringe pitcher with Yellow Springs who I think had a cup of coffee as a RP. The others were bums.
To my knowledge, none of the pitchers ever developed the pitch.

I saw him too. Thought about taking him. I guess some of these guys that add a pitch always had it under the hood ans S+ picks up on it. Not sure how I feel about that. Who knows whether this actually means anything. If he adds a 6/6 Knuckle Curve at some point down the line I'll share it for transparency's sake but I highly doubt that this is a consistent thing and has lifted the veil on guys who suddenly develop new pitches. Time will tell I guess.

I cant remember the name of the guy from when I was with Nashville but you may be right. The only way you knew he had the pitch in game was to go to his Scouting page. It talked about having another pitch that wasnt reflected in the ratings.
