*HSV misses the playoffs again!*

"Well, at least I'll get a better draft pick... right?" *laughs nervously*

Correct me if I’m wrong

If a supplemental round pick doesn’t sign, you lose that pick.

Right?

Sounds right.

It is right, a supplemental pick only is for the next draft if that player doesn’t sign you’ve blown it. Otherwise you could just go on accumulating picks and keeping them until you get a deep draft

It’s done on a three-year average, or something like that, so a bad year doesn’t necessarily boost you up the draft to a better place

It's a weighted average over a 3 year window to give the current season the most weight and 2 seasons ago the league weight. Was just another variation of the 'HSV has been the last team to miss the playoffs for 3 straight years' "joke".

Have you seen the last two drafts? They were really deep.

I would be shocked to see three really deep drafts in a row. A correction is coming.

Draft pool is in the reports and looks updated. Probably will be some names added to that. But it looks pretty good again. Though it's kind of light on SP's. Heavy on great RP-SP conversions though.

Since I have #1, I'll just say I'm looking at Wilson Andrade right now. Hoping he develops some more before the draft. Better bats available but he's one of the more potentially compete players in the draft.

Oof, I like Andrade. That defense with those offensive tools. At SS. I like him too, he's pretty raw though.

Agreed on him being raw. Like I said, hoping he can get his contact up a little bit before the draft. But it may not matter to me. I think it's worth the risk.

And looking more, his actuals dropped which is WEIRD. So that's a little nerve racking.

There are plenty of players in this draft with good pots in this draft though. Going to shortlist a bunch of guys tonight to see if they drop sharply.

When does the draft start? Do we complete the draft in Stats +?

Thank you.
