2018, Ammy Draft Chatter

Suns take the young, lefty, Russian SS Kharlamov. Quality pitchers seem off the board for quite a while at this point...

Great pick. Really liked this guy. Not sure what will be available at pick 13 and 17.

Couldn't turn down Banuelos. He's too much like players like Andrew Ivey and William Kidd, great intangibles.

Probably better than the reliever I turned down at #7 last year, so I imagine I'll sign him.

Took the 'Village Idiot' ... if he develops he will be a prototypical leadoff hitter. Should hit for a high .AVG...OBP...and steal a ton of bases. Hopefully he will learn to play 2B

You all are too good at drafting. Stop it.

Blech. Glad I have a decent prospect base because the draft isn't gonna be much help.

I was hoping I would be able to replenish in this draft due to trading my spects away to Omaha last season and the awful ammy draft, but not going to happen this year.

Hint, it's not going to get much better in the next few years if you look at College and High School.

Yeah I noticed that Recte. Will have to adjust my plans somewhat. I was hoping to net one real stud but I'm not sure that'll happen.

Thanks Aaron, I think he can be a solid first baseman if he develops. I do like switch-hitters.

Remember, some of these guys come out of nowhere to be stars, or at least average pros. It's not all about the first round.

Jones is not my favorite type of pick, but looks like he'll be a decent hitter and can draw walks, not many in this draft have the last trait. Hopefully he will work out.

I see we ended up with C Sam Adams with the fourth overall pick in the draft. I'm happy with that.

Plus, what an impressive moustache for a 17 year old.

Who doesn't a full team of awesome moustaches? They've begun creeping into my coaching staff too now that I promoted Nate O'Neal to the big league bench coach spot.
