I don't remember last time it was this deep. Hope the game engine doesn't take it out on vets too badly by slumping them. It has to balance things somehow. Then again, I don't see too many players that should start immediately rather than spending at least this season in AAA.

I have never had a tougher time making a pick than I have this season. I rushed my round 1 pick and made the wrong choice. I was really unaware until making my s1 pick just how deep this draft was. GEEZ!! There are 50 guys on the board I would have been happy with.

Stu Baker

is only the #70 prospect in the league.

Even after this draft it's probably not true.

Can't wait to get him on a diamond.

Tried to go as safe as I could with my second rounders. Wish Carter could play defense, but if he could he'd have probably been drafted higher.

I won't be later. Hope the draft doesn't go too wonky between 2:30 and 8:30.

By the way, Long Beach's pick of Reynaldo Garza has been changed to Ernesto Olberos, who was previously unselected. If Garza's availability is a significant problem for anyone who picked after Long Beach, please let me know ASAP.

Yours is fine, but it appears that Buffalo went to a list pick. Which I'll now take care of.

I'm gone between 2:30 and 8:30 so this could get really interesting.
