Sommerville Back In The Fold
WILL FRANCO BREAK THE CHAIN?

2nd Bird Returns
To the NestMay 23, 2061: Forever Land - When it came, the news arrived (as it always does) quietly. Roger Sommerville, the clubs second loss in the cold winters Rule 5 draft process, was returned by Calgary today after posting a 7.43 ERA in 23 innings with the Pioneers.
"It's not what I wanted to happen," said the 27-year-old fringe prospect after he was assigned to Bikinis AAA-level team. "But it is what it is. I'll just go back to Pasco and work harder."
It was the club's second return of three players selected, and as noted before by the Pasco Platypuss clubhouse manager Horace McGree, not an unexpected one. That said, the team's third loss came in the form of Tomas Franco, who was selected by Valencia, and who has thrown seventeen very effective innings for the Stars, posting a 1.04 ERA in 10 games.
"I hope he don't come back," McGree said in a forlorn tone. "But I'll admit I'm still thinking its just a matter of time."
