September 29, 2058: Forever Land – With the Bikini Krill so cruelly deprived of a spot in the silly post-season exhibition tournament, team owner P. Moreau Westmoreland has opened Forever Park and it’s amazing visual presentation to fans of Earth’s Team to use as a way to watch BBA games up close. In support of this, the team has signed fan favorites Scott Bugbie and Andrew Gallagher to minor league deals that will allow them to come to the park and represent the team as it prepares for its next season ticket push.

Bugbie pitched with Portland this year, then spent time in the San Fernando minors before being released in August. Gallagher last played in the big leagues in 2057. He was released from the Phoenix organization earlier this year. Unless they are signed to an extension before the year ends, the club will have to release both prior to this year’s free agency period.

“We’ll see what happens as time moves on,” said assistant GM at the press conference the team held to announce the special viewing process, which is free of charge to all fans and attendees at the Forever Land Resorts that futurist and multi-trillionaire Westy Westmoreland is now nearly finished building around the entirety of the Marshall Islands. “Maybe we can make longer term deals, and maybe not. Until then, both Scott and Andrew have expressed exceptional excitement about wearing Bikini jerseys, signing autographs, and chewing the fat with fans while we give them tours that highlight what they get with a season ticket. So it’s a real win-win situation no matter what.”

Fan reaction seems to back Zuniga up, as the stands were full of fervent Krill fans who cheered and chanted as they watched Pacific Division rival Valencia go down to Omaha, but then saw the Pacific’s San Fernando Bears claim the last slot in the post-season exhibition tournament. “It’s a shame we couldn’t have seen Bikini in it,” said Sammy LaCosta, from Newfinland, “But it was a great day in a great park, and to be able to get a picture with Bugbie and Gallagher in those snazzy Krill uniforms capped it all off. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.”

Lines for Bugbie and Gallagher autographs were quite long.
