While it's good to try and focus on a team's successes and failures, there's going to be a lot more of the latter when your team goes 67-95. With that in mind, let's just take a few moments to attempt to publicly shame some of the other members of the Storm who had bad seasons and led the Storm to such a poor season.
Gary Wright, let's start with you! In the past you have always been at least an average right fielder with a bat that was at least respectable. After never posting a wRC+ below 100, his wRC+ plummeted to a 42 this season; not surprisingly, his overall effectiveness had a corresponding drop. This year, he only had -1.8 WAR. Some would say that it's difficult to succeed when a starting player is hurting your team every time he steps on to the field.
Lane Aldridge saw his FIP balloon from a respectable 3.80 to 5.15 this season. While he had never been expected to be an ace for the Storm, they had been hoping that he could at least have some positive contributions for this year's team. It's fair to say that wasn't the case; on the contrary, he was lit up nearly every time he took to the mound, which also did not help the team succeed.
Aurelio Castillo had two straight seasons with FIPs of 3.05 and 3.45, respectively. This year, as if to match Lane Aldridge, his FIP was also 5.15. His brutal performance out of the bullpen was also a major factor in the demise of Seattle's hope for a competitive season.
While Wright and Aldridge are likely finished in Seattle, it's perhaps not too late to hope for some sort of rebound for Castillo, but only time will tell.

I’m surprised it’s taken so long for Aldridge to be finished in Seattle lol? I slung him out the door at Wichita as a no good bum and thought that he might have a good season or maybe two on the rebound in Seattle but to last this long ? Lol, sheesh, send him to the UMEBA, he can do a few years there
