Chasing The Storm 2036-3 Sim 13 Review

Post by njherdfan » Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:31 am

If you were to walk around downtown Seattle, you might wonder why everyone is smiling. The answer is simple: the Seattle Storm are playing some terrific baseball. After a 5-1 sim, the Storm continued apace with a 4-2 sim and outscored their opponents 32-21. Let's take a look at some of Seattle's best and worst performers.

TOP PERFORMERS: This probably won't surprise you, but the sim's top performer (and probably the performer of the season) is Ken Walter, who threw his first career no-hitter. Walter struck out 14 hitters, and the only base-runner reached on a walk. The walk came on a 3-2 pitch, as well. Let's just say that the home plate umpire will probably not want to set foot in Seattle any time soon, because he cost Walter a perfect game. At the plate, Walter Finch led the way with a 1.216 OPS over 6 games.

WORST PERFORMERS: It's hard to complain too much after such a successful sim, but Jesus Gonzalez finally struggled a little bit,as he only had a .656 OPS over 6 games. Similarly, John Hickman had a .579 OPS over 5 games.
