Chasing The Storm 2036-1 Sim 3 Review

It might always be cloudy in Seattle, but the attitude of the locals is downright sunny. After another excellent sim, the Storm now sport a 15-4 record, and all is right with the world. The Storm went 5-1 in their most recent sim; let's check out some of the top performers.

TOP PERFORMERS: On the offensive side of the ball, Jesus Gonzalez was Seattle's best player, and he was rewarded with the Player of the Week award for his efforts. He posted a 1.390 OPS and added 2 home runs. Lloyd Braun also chipped in with a .965 OPS. On the mound, Alfredo Contreras and Ken Walter continued to do what they do best, which is get opposing hitters out. Each made one start, and each allowed only 1 earned run. While there was some initial concern that Contreras's new contract could breed complacency, that has certainly not been the case thus far.

WORST PERFORMERS: It's hard to complain too much when you're talking about a 5-1 performance, but first baseman Pat Crum certainly had a week he would like to forget. In 6 games he had an OPS of only .216, and struck out in 9 of his 22 at-bats. Let's hope for some improvement in the future!
