Chasing The Storm 2035-3 Sim 1 Review

For one week, at least, everything was beautiful and nothing hurt for Seattle fans. The Storm...Stormed out of the gates of the 2035 season, as they went 5-0, and outscored their opponents 28-10.Their first 3 games were a sweep of the Boise Spuds in the Spuds' inaugural series. Let's take a look at some of the best and worst performers from the first 5 games.

TOP PERFORMERS: On offense, Seattle's offense was led, as it has been for much of the past decade, by Juan Escobar. In 5 games and 20 at-bats, Escobar had 10 hits, including 2 home runs, and put up an OPS of 1.495. Not to be outdone, Lionel Crepin got off to a very hot start, as he put up a 1.326 OPS in 5 games. Seattle fans are relieved to see Crepin get off to a hot start after he struggled mightily to start last season. On the mound, Pablo Morales threw a complete game shutout, striking out 6 hitters. Alfredo Contreras had a start where he struck out 15 hitters, which is pretty cool.

WORST PERFORMERS: Walter Finch did not get off to a great start, as he only posted a .454 OPS over 5 games. On the mound, there's very little to complain about, but Jose Perucho did give up 1 run over 1 innings. Oh well.
