Chasing The Storm 2033-5 Sim 10 Review

Post by njherdfan » Thu Dec 21, 2017 1:06 pm

It’s unclear if it was the weather, or just the massive amount of steroids that Seattle pitchers have started to take, but Seattle’s pitching staff was in fine form this past week, as the Storm went 4-2 in 6 games, outscoring opponents 21-12. Let’s take a look at some of Seattle’s best and worst performers.

TOP PERFORMERS: Seattle’s offense was largely unspectacular, but in 4 games Jorge Rodriguez posted a 1.055 OPS, and added 2 more home runs, to bring his career total to 493. Seattle fans are waiting anxiously to see him get to 500, and they hope that he can do that in Seattle. Manny Montanez also contributed with a .944 OPS in the 5 games that he started. On the mound, just about everyone for Seattle was terrific. In 2 starts, Esteban Sanchez pitched 17 innings and allowed only 1 earned run, and he won both of his decisions. In his only start Julio Alicea threw 7.1 shutout innings.

WORST PERFORMERS: Unsurprisingly, Owen Stark continued his run of poor performance, as he only posted a .521 OPS in the 5 games he started. Not ideal. It’s hard to find anyone to criticize from the pitching staff, but Axel Angwin, in 2 appearances, recorded only 1 out while allowing 3 hits, for an ERA of 27. Hopefully he can bounce back soon.

It would be nice if Rodriguez could stay healthy for awhile now.
