Chasing The Storm 2033-2 Sim 2 Review

Post by njherdfan » Mon Dec 04, 2017 8:40 am

It’s always good to know your team won’t be going 0-162. After a disastrous 0-6 start, Seattle fans could have been forgiven for being a little bit worried. Fortunately for Seattle fans, however, things now appear to be headed back to normal. Seattle righted its ship by going 5-1 in its most recent sim, and outscoring its opponents 37-21. Let’s take a look at some of Seattle’s best and worst performers.

Top Performers: Cesar Montoya was a man on a mission, as he had an OPS of 1.406 in his 5 games, with 2 home runs. Juan Escobar was also an offensive stalwart, as he posted a 1.116 OPS in 4 games. On the mound Len Caldwell was terrific in his only start, as he went 8 innings, allowing only 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 with 0 walks.

Worst Performers: Mike McCain, Seattle’s Rule 5 selection, has gotten off to a very slow start; he only put up a .564 OPS in his 13 at-bats. On the mound Alfredo Contreras continues to struggle, as he gave up 16 hits and 7 earned runs in his 12.1 innings over 2 starts. Seattle fans have reason for optimism, though, as he struck out 16 hitters while walking only 2; it seems like things might be turning around for him.
