ROTATION TO RETURN
November 5, 2063 Depending on how one looks at it, Arturo Meza picked a good, or bad, season to drop a 14-8, 3.52 ERA season that came with a better-than-solid 82 FIP-. Today the Krill announced that they were executing their $8M option on the righthander's contract, GM Ron Collins noting that "I might be a little slow, but I'm not that stupid."

Nebraska Candidate
To ReturnAt 4.7 WAR, the season was his best since the earliest days of his time in Omaha, and served to staunch the complaints that had been coming from some fans after two tepid seasons that preceded. Normally a bit home run prone, the 31-year old saw his homer rate drop by roughly 30% this season, something that certainly helped. Add it up, and you've got a season that saw the Kentucky native register a season that garnered him serious attention in voting for the Frick League Nebraska voting.
"This is a great team to be with," Meza said of the news, "I feel like we're right on the edge of doing something great."
The team also has one more option year for 2065.
Rotation Looks Stable
For the first time in the time period the franchise has been on the atoll (I think) it appears the Krill's rotation will be intact going into the off-season. Meza will join emerging Ace Paul Worboys, veteran Takashi Nakaumra, solid rookie lefty Nelson Williams, and this year's weird little Cinderella in Paul Glass, though some are wondering if Glass might benefit from time in the minorsespecially if prospects Jose Guevera or Jacky Lavergne look ready in the spring.
"I love all seven of them," said cloned manager Kate Fiscus. "You can bet I'll be paying them lots of attention in the fall and winter. I expect we'll be working on new grips and maybe a slider or two."
