Jake Urban, Second Base
Urban was the only unanimous elected player in the entire MBBA. He's having the finest season of his career, and must now be looked at as a potential Hall of Famer. Urban played the whole game, going 1-3 with a run scored.

Donald "Iron Man" Noboru, Shortstop
He was elected as a starter but did not actually start in the game. Iron Man, fresh off a contract extension, is in the mix for the Frick League batting title this year (like most years). Donald had a pinch hit, 2 out, RBI single in the 4th inning.

Ross White, Right Field
Selected as a reserve, but actually got the start. Another sure fire future Hall of Famer. Ross played the whole game, going 1-4 with a double and aa run scored.

Jeff Washington, Center Field
One of the most underrated players in the game, he's a fine offensive player but really shines in the field. Selected as a reserve, he made his 2nd All-Star team. He pinch hit and struck out.

Christopher "Trooper" Stoller, Starting Pitcher
One of the league's top pitchers, he was elected as a starting pitcher and did not appear in the game.

Kim Rodas, Starting Pitcher
One of the more underrated pitchers in the game, Rodas was elected to his first All-Star Game. He didn't get to pitch in the game.

Luis "Rapid" Luna, Starting Pitcher
It took him a while, but the 4th overall pick in the 2001 draft (by Chicago) seems to have finally made it. Elected to the club, he pitched a scoreless third inning for the Frick League and actually earned the win!!!

Paul "Worm" Hogan, Closer
With apologies to Vancouver's Jason Egan and other talented closers, here is the best shutdown reliever in the game. The voters agreed, voting him in convincingly. Hogan didn't disappoint, pitching the final two innings with 4 K's to earn the All-Star Save!

Davey Acheson, Starting Pitcher
Rectenwald had to pick last year's FL Nebraska Award Winner as a reserve. He pitched the fifth and gave up two runs.
Kept off the team, but deserving? Several, we actually considered two players strongly:
Francisco Lueras has been a revelation in the rotation, and has arguably been our 2nd best starter overall. Also, rookie first baseman Jason Vanega just missed the cut.
Congrats to our All-Stars!
