The Las Vegas Hustlers made just one change in their BBA coaching staff for the 2061 season. "It was a difficult decision, but after going through our staff and player meetings and evaluating, I've made the decision to let Eliott Buckland explore his options as we won't be renewing his contract as our pitching coach for 2061," said manager Henry Rectenberg. "Our pitching has just been too uneven over the past few years, and I thought it might be time for a change. This change will be good for us, and for Eliott, I think."

Buckland had reportedly been under heavy pressure this season, and was struggling a bit under the stress.


The club announced that they had named Andy Sisco Jr., 35 years old, as the new pitching coach. Sisco Jr. had been the pitching coach for Rookie League Roswell for the past two seasons. He was the Hustlers' first round pick (18th overall) in 2044, but never made the majors in his eight year playing career. "Coaching is my calling," said a clearly excited Sisco Jr. "I loved working with the youngsters the last couple of years, but to have the chance to work with a BBA staff is an absolute dream. If injuries hadn't wrecked my career, I might be in a different spot but this is the path my career has taken. I know a lot of the guys already from Spring Training and from hanging around the team after Roswell's season ended. I think I can help out a great deal."

Injuries did indeed wreck Sisco Jr's career, that's probably an understatement. Behold:
