Thursday, September 9th , 2060
The Saint Paul Riverhawks were simply overmatched by the Milwaukee Choppers in the Brewster Invitational.

The end result was a sweep, as Milwaukee has cruised to the The Granville-Roundfield Decision, with the final win coming at Helfear Field by a score of 3-2.

"We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Rodrigo Cabrera, who was named MVP of the Brewster Invitational. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this."

For the series, Cabrera hit .714 with a .750 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs.

Carlos Ramirez pitched like an ace in Game 1 with 8 1/3 shutout innings to set the tone for the Choppers.

In the deciding game, the score was tied up 2-2 into the bottom of the eighth. Ron Madden had a stellar outing for Milwaukee, but was being matched by one time Hustlers' Rule 5 pick Marshall Taylor of Annapolis. The Sailors sent Dalton Steele to relieve Taylor and start the bottom of the ninth. He was greeted by the first batter, Dave Offredi, who turned on a 2-1 pitch, hitting a solo homer to break the deadlock. Faqih bin Nasser pitched a three up, three down top of the ninth to send Milwaukee to the penultimate series in the Rupert Horn Baseball League.

The Milwaukee Choppers will play the Annapolis Sailors for all the marbles. The The Granville-Roundfield Decision is scheduled to begin on September 11th , 2060.
