With both Milwaukee (AAA) and Reno (AA) in the playoffs, the Las Vegas Hustlers initial September call up list was a short one.

Left-handed reliever Noori bin Mu'awiya made it back to the bigs to pitch for his fifth BBA franchise (following Omaha, Rocky Mountain, Boise and Nashville). It certainly wasn't based on results, as he posted a 5.86 ERA in 25 appearances (5 starts) for Milwaukee. The Hustlers want to see if he might be a keeper as a left-handed reliever going into the offseason.

His grasp on a 40-man roster spot looking awfully slippery, catcher/first baseman Gabriel Herrera is back in Vegas for the second straight September. He appeared in just two games last year for the Hustlers, with no at-bats. For Milwaukee this year, he had a slash line of .312/.381/.398/.778 in 176 at-bats with just one homer. For Reno (AA), it was .274/.341/.372/.712 in 288 at-bats with four homers. He'll be the third catcher, for now.

Vegas expects to bring up several more players if the Milwaukee season ends before the end of the month.
