WHIV 2059.13- My Solution Is To Do Nothing

The Turning Points idea was cool- I just don't have the personal discipline to do it every sim. What happens is I miss one sim, then I get anxiety, and then another sim goes by and then it seems insurmountable. This is the same cycle that kept happening to me back in my school days, especially in college. I'd miss one class, then another, then find out I missed a quiz that was like 20% of my grade, and then I'd just stop going. Back in those days I dealt with a lot of issues by simply choosing to not deal with them. Looking back, I can't see where in my head I could justify that ignoring a problem would solve it. Still, that was my modus operandi.
What does that have to do with the Las Vegas Hustlers? For starters, I had to explain why I'm not going to do the Turning Points style news anymore. Whew, that feels better. Secondly, though I referred heavily to "those days" when it comes to not facing problems head on, the truth is I still do this sometimes. I'm doing it right now, as we speak. With what, you might ask? Well, the Las Vegas Hustlers defense is problematic and it's contributing heavily to some pretty horrible pitching numbers. What am I doing about it? I'm choosing to ignore the problem.
I'm not going to acknowledge that shortstop is a huge problem. Maybe it'll get better by itself?? I'm just going to completely look the other way when it comes to Pedro Huerta's defense in left field. He's hitting so well, it's easy to ignore. Let's be serious. Other than center field and catcher, the Hustlers have some serious defensive problems. I have a plan, though. I'll give it zero thought. There is no problem. Everything is fine. Eventually, I'll tell myself, things will get better on their own. I mean, I have a long track record of these kind of things working themselves out when I ignore them. Right?
