These four youngsters fought hard to make the Las Vegas Hustlers roster for 2059, and all four will have an impact at some point this season.


Saltik just needs more seasoning. At age 25, this is really the year where the Hustlers hope he takes the next step. With veterans like Ata, Huerta and Rudge playing in the outfield corners, his opportunity isn't far away.


Bevan has a bright future as a utility player for the Hustlers. The club wants him playing regularly for now in Milwaukee (AAA), but he's fully ready to go whenever an opportunity arises.


Hadonov needs to continue to work on his defense, with a shot to become a regular shortstop or second baseman with continued improvement. He hit at will during Spring Training.


Hampton was extremely close to making the Opening Day roster, only prevented from doing so by the presence of veteran players like Huerta and Ata. If the Hustlers' outfield defense becomes problematic, as it looks like it may, Hampton will get an early call to the big leagues. Besides his elite speed and defense, scouts have said he's a "Good Time Charlie".

It's always been slow to develop. Power is usually the last thing to develop. I think it might have to happen in the BBA.
