He keeps leaving Las Vegas, but he keeps coming right back. Ernesto Sousa is back again after once again getting no action on the free agent market. "Not sure exactly what I have to do to get some interest," said Sousa, who produced an other-wordly slash line of .350/.380/.626/1.006 for the Hustlers last season. "But I know Vegas always keeps tabs on me."
He seems an odd fit at the moment, with Colm Alker having been signed earlier in the year and rookie Brian Flint starting to heat up, but Las Vegas manager Edward Allen is unfazed by the potential logjam. "Alker didn't get it done, not sure where he stands with us going forward, but you can't say no to a deal like this for a player who has proven time and time again that he can not only hit here, but thrive."
