Hustlers manager Elroy Futon will be the Las Vegas skipper through at least the 2006 season after signing another extension. While terms weren't publicly released, sources indicated that the contract would be worth over $1,000,000 per season. "Elroy has been one of the best managers in the league," Hustlers owner Oscar Goodman said in a press statement. "We want to keep him in the Hustler family for as long as possible, and we wanted to reward him for the overall job he's done as well as bringing us two champonships in three years as skipper."
Futon, 62 years old, took over as the Hustlers manager in 2001.
2001: 96-66, 1st place, won LMS!

Futon's emergence as a top manager was not unexpected. He was always a fiery leader throughout his playing days and was elected to the MBBA Hall of Fame in 1982.
