Four players who spent time in Las Vegas last year were given the rudest of rejections, with the club simply not electing to offer them a contract.
The biggest name, if you could call him that, is Jose Montano. "Montano suffers from a delusion that he is an everyday player," GM Matt Rectenwald said. "We'd love to see some proof of that claim, as his numbers certainly don't offer any explanation of his demands."
Three veterans had no interest in remaining with the Las Vegas organization in a minor league capacity. Willis Roberts (left), Joe Lacy (center) and Henry Jones III were all given a shot to stick with the big club this year and all three failed. Roberts was exceptionally bad. "See you later," said Rectenwald.
The pissy looks on their pathetic faces should say it all.

I honestly don't understand Willis Roberts, but he's why I traded away Hasheem Makin so easily. Whatever the game thinks.
