The prodigal son has returned. Henry Rectenberg is back in a Las Vegas Hustlers uniform once again after being claimed off waivers from the Valencia Stars.
Rectenberg showed star potential from 2033 through 2039, but then his abilities seemingly disappeared overnight. After spending 2042-2043 in the UMEBA, he returned stateside in 2044 when he played primarily for Valencia's AAA San Jose team.
So why would the Hustlers bring him back at this stage of his career? "It's simple," said GM Matt Rectenwald. "Leadership. He's an amazing leader and will have a huge future in our organization as a manager whenever he chooses to retire. In the meantime we'll keep him around if possible."

2) Of the three UMEBA teams he's played for, two are no longer active teams (Kuwait City and Cairo Chariot Archers BC). Libya remains.

4) He was signed to a minor league deal by the Seattle Storm in 2041 but elected free agency on May 1st, after which he signed with the Phoenix Talons organization for a bonus of $12,345.

6) Wins the 2041 Charley Pegler League Pegler Series with the Toledo Liberty!
