1) What are we doing with first base/DH? Obviously Carlos Fernandez gets one of these spots, but who is the other guy? Is it the Jekyll and Hyde guy in Gianni Francolini? Could youngster Carlos Santillan emerge? Or is it someone else? If there is a wide open spot on the club going into next season, it's here.

2) Is David Godwin the long term answer at third base? He's been solid in his two years in the BBA, but not overly outstanding. Could someone like Abay Azzouzj push for more playing time? Stay tuned.

3) Will Las Vegas take the team option on much injured Mark White? This seems unlikely, especially with the late season showcase of Pierangelo Ferri who looks like the right handed power hitter the new park will favor.

4) What happens to Po-sin Shi? He'll be shopped around the league, but it's likely he remains for another year at $12.1M, and probably in a bench role.
