Mike England putting up a great season after being disparaged by some potato from Boise? Dalrymple's absolute albatross literally the day after he signed? Shawn Huber arguably being a better reliever than Jason Egan? L'Archibudelli being an absolute hit machine and he just might get double digit dingers? Otto Altaner's emergence making last years Mercado/Greek Freak trade looking like a total steal for us? Manoell Whanon looking like a young star in the making? Mimum Zikomo coming from nowhere and having a fine rookie season in the outfield? Augate Balun's 8 blown saves? So many relevant questions you could have asked and instead you focus on something completely minor like me missing a few press conferences. I expected better from you Goldie... "

Soik: "A few press conferences?! He's absolutely right. You have literally been a ghost for almost an entire year. What happened? Who was running the team?"

GM: "I can't believe you guys. Look we just clinched a playoff spot didn't we? Things are going well. We have significant cap space going into next year even to perhaps add to this young core I've put together. Relax. I hope you are happy. No more questions! "

I’m glad you’re feeling good about our trade yet. I’m actually over the moon about it also. I guess it was a net positive for both of us.

That trade combined with the Charm City trade gives me Whanon and Hale. And Otto actually has made up a lot of the lost offense from Kouros.

Yeah, I think Hale was probably too much to give away, but I needed a bonafide leading guy. I subsequently traded Kun for two developing minor league relievers. If they work out, it’s a net positive for positions of need in my organization.
