Sin City Times 2040.11
GM: "Good evening folks. The celebrations have already started but as you see Goldie I am a professional and so ill take some questions before I start drinking."
Goldie: "Umm ok. Well in that vein, why did you jet off when we last saw you for Brazil? Were you actually out scouting?"
GM: "Great question. I was headed to visit Whanon's family to see if I could legally adopt him too. Then I'd have twins. How cool is that?"
Soik: "Ok that's just crazy. Even if you hypothetically did that, Phil Logan and Manoell Whanon wouldn't be twins. They'd just be brothers. You give me a headache. Lets just get to it. Thoughts on winning the Landis in your first season back?"
GM: "Shall I channel my inner Vinnie Vitale here uh, Debbie Downer?! Yea that's what ill call you. Anyway. Its a tremendous feeling. Obviously you don't need any reminding how great my predecessor here was while running the team. He was incredibly vocal about wanting to win one final title in his last season here before the massive realignment once word got out about his impending departure. He made a lot of moves and emptied a lot of talent out of the farm if we are being honest to take a shot at it. However the big league team was actually fairly young and there were a few pieces left that could simply be called up or swapped around for more parts. He ultimately fell short of his goal in 2039 and I thought it would be rather fitting to start my first year off in the same vein he left. So we made a lot of win now moves but did manage to keep an eye on not hamstringing our future too hard and well fortune favored the brave this time. I'm not going to say we had some sort of Ultimate Schematic or anything like that though..."
Goldie: "So it was all luck?"
GM: "I don't know that i'd go that far. Luck certainly played a heavy role though. I personally had as us the underdog in every series we were in as we went through the playoffs but Eddie Allen and his boys proved me wrong at every step. You might call it the ultimate reverse jinx. I have it on good authority that the locker room was incredibly upset with me and was out to rub my nose in it. Couldn't have worked out better. I'm not going to say im some sort of genius though..."
Soik: "Ok well what's next?"
GM: "Alcohol. Lots of alcohol. I'm a big boy. I will let the entire team have their shot at rubbing my nose in it and I will enjoy every second of it. They've earned it and then some. Mitch is totally buying. With this title he has already earned every penny we are about to pay him but I can't help but want to get some of it back. Oh and someone get me Tom Rudge's parents contact info. I want triplets!"

Triplets. Ha! This is awesome, Brett. Congratulations on the championship - well deserved and a hell of a lot of fun to follow all season long. Well done, sir!
