Sure Fire Locks:
Antonio Robles

Robles might have flamed out last year when he came over from Omaha, but the Hustlers are giving him a clean slate. They need him to be steady behind the dish and decent at the plate.

Near Locks:
Robinson Lopez

Lopez has been an outstanding part-time catcher in each of the last two seasons. He figures to make the ideal platoon partner for Robles and the backup plan in case Robles flops again.

Trying To Get In The Door:
Benjamin Clark

Clark remains a promising offensive catcher, the question is whether or not he can handle the defensive responsibilities of the job. The signing of Robles clearly signals that the Hustlers front office isn't sold on him.

Breaking In The Back Door (NRI):
Gary Hilbert

Meet the next "under the radar" catching prospect. Hilbert has put himself on the map with good defense and just enough offense, and will probably open with Reno (AA) to start the year.
