The Marauders announced today that they have hired Jack "Homer" Hanski to manage the team's Rookie League team, the Chestermere Lunkers. Hanski played shortstop for 10 seasons with the Marauders and is the team's all time homerun king with 328. He is second on the team with 999 RBIs. Hanski had been working for the team as a scout the past couple of months.

"I'm excited to get this chance," Hanski said. "Dickey (Dickey Brinkman) called me and said that the team was looking to hire back some of us former players." Brinkman, Calgary's bench coach and a member of the MBBA Hall of Fame, was a teammate of Hanski for most of his career.

Calgary is reportedly talking to former bullpen ace Louis Sheffield about a position with the team. Sheffield is the all time save leader for the Marauders

Hanski was awesome back in the day. I really like this PP Reward a lot, as it brings some light back to the old "greats".
