Pioneer Multi HR Games

The Pioneers had more than their typical numbers of multi home run games from their sluggers this year including two players hitting 3 in a game which hadn’t happened in 11 seasons.

Larry Stinson (54 HR) of course led the way with 9 multi HR games. This was the second time in his career that he topped 50 and he also is now over 600 for his career. The highlight for Stinson was when he hit 2 homers against Jacksonville on 7/16, again on 7/17 and once again on 7/18. Three games in a row!

Robert Chenowith (37 HR) was next with 5 multi HR games. His best night was when he hit 3 on 6/24 against Las Vegas.

Carlomaria Donadoni (40 HR) only had 3 multi HR games, but on 6/12 against San Antonio he became the first Pioneer to hit 3 in a game since 2044!

Rookie Brodie Dempsey (22 HR) got his career off to a good start with 2 games that he hit a pair of homers in.

Sancho Rutan (5 HR) really wants to get back to Calgary full time next year. After being submerged at AAA for most of the season he had multi HR games on back to back nights against Mexico 9/11 and Edmonton 9/12. Rutan only started 11 games in Calgary this season.
