Today the New Orleans Crawdads have announced that they will add Hall of Fame outfielder Juan Donestavez to the teams hall of fame.
Donestavez retired after the 2062 season. In a somewhat rare feat, every single pitch he saw was in a Crawdads uniform. "I just loved it in New Orleans" Donestavez said. "I cant imagine a better place to play ball". He finished his career with 2 MVP titles, 1 Landis Title, 11 All Star Game selections, 5 Pucketts, 2 Yogi's to go along with 506 HRs (56 all time), 670 Stolen Bases (37th all time), 1179 Walks (50th all time), 2 Sawyer Silks,
Donestavez currently serves as the manager for the teams Rookie club in Barlett, where he has a managerial record of 63-73, but more importantly has mentored young players on their way to their own individual stardom.

He was a great Crawdad. Cool that he played all of his games in New Orleans. Well deserved honor.
