New Orleans SP Jim Wilkinson will head towards Free Agency.

Wilkinson signed a 3 year 34M contract after the 2052 season, and after a career year in 2054 out of the pen, he returned to the starting rotation in 2055 and well...he ran out of steam.

New Orleans, a team who seemed to be willing to play players out of position all over the field in 2055 - did so with Wilkenson. Jim Wilkinson went 7-13 with a 5.45 ERA. His high work ethic which is usaully praised caused some great challanges for him. He just wasnt the same player.

At 35 years old, his best years may be behind him. But look for him to consider retirement, but probably sign on for another season or two with someone aronud the BBA...likely in the bullpen where he belongs.
