The Crawdad Chronicles has just learned that GM Jim Roberts has told Manager Frank Thomas that he will not be the manager of the club in 2056
Thomas led the club to a disapointing 2055 season, going 65-97 in his seventh season with the club. Thomas was previously the Manager of the Rockville Pikeman
Thomas broke his streak of 13 consecutive playoff seasons in 2053. He won the Landis for the first time in 2051 in New Orkeans.
However, after signing a big contract extension, the last 3 seasons have been BAD. New Orleans has gone just 216-270 over those 3 years, which is one of the worst losing streaks in franchise history.
New Orleans will likely look to Free Angency to fill the slot, although they could promote Manuel Ramirez from Bench Coach or Noberto Figureoa from AAA>
