The New Orleans Crawdads have pretty. much mailed it in for the 2055 season. But they look ahead to 2056 - and have monsterous holes to fill. They have over $40M projected to spend in the offseason. And they have some BIG holes to fill.
Chief amongst them is probably a Shortstop. We just cant keep carting out Luis Estrada at SS. The guy is an Outfielder, and can only pretend to play Shortstop. The bat and the power is there - but he needs to be a corner outfielder and everyone knows it.
The bullpen is also a rough spot that needs some help.
But all in all, 2056 is going to be a rough year. Even with some splash in free agency, its unlikely they will find a way to get back to where New Orleans has histoircally been.

It's going to be interesting. Some top players are going to get overpaid big time, me thinks.
