New Orleans stuggled in 2053 - and looked to shore up their infield by signing aging veteran Jose Sanchez for a one year 6M contract,
Sanchez, who began his career with the 'Dads, and played several remarkable seasons before departing to El Paso in 2050 was hoping to have a good homecoming.
That didnt work quite as planned. The oft injured Sanchez played in 103 gamea, and had a WAR at -0.6. Worse, he had a -14.2 ZR at SS which he was specifically brought in to address.
Sanchez will hit the free agency market again this year, but likely wont command anwhere close to the 6M NO payed him in 2054.
