Today, the New Orleans Crawdads annonced hat SP Albert "Donkey" Martinez will go up on the elite wall of fame, reserved for players with a special place in New Orleans Crawdads History.
Martinez joined the crawdads in 2010 at the age of 22. Over the next 14 years he ammassed 179 wins, making him 2nd all time in New Orleans behind only Manueal Ramirez.He finished his career in New Orleans with a 3.24 ERA and two all star appearances. He was an integral part to 4 BBA champtionships, and is one of the most popular players in New Orleans history.
