Frank Thomas III made his debut as BBA manager this season. After 9 years as the hitting coach in Rockville (and making the playoffs each of those years) - New Orleans hired him on a 4 year 7M contract to lead the Crawdads.
The 2036 Hall of Fame inductee spent most of his career with the Carolina Cracken and was a 12 time all star, and now wants to help the Crawdads get back to glory.
"I remember a time where this team was one of the most dominant in the league...we need to get back there and stay there" Thomas said. I have a lot of good memories in Carolina/Rockville...but thats yesterday. Need to focus on tomorrow and 2050.
The 51 year old Thomas (who looks like he can still play) will look to improve on their 2049 season. Should make 2050 and the continuous battle with Rockville an inteesting one to watch in the future.
