Crawdad Chronicles 44.06 - New orleans Fires Hitting Coach

Today the New Orleans Crawdads announced they will not be retaining the services of Hitting Coach Jean Michel for the 2045 season.

Michel guided the crawdads to a league low in Home Runs - which, frankly, for anyone watching teh Crawdads over the years is a complete abberation. Combined with being last in the league in extra base hits, 13th in slugging percentage and 8th in batting average - it was time for us to move on.

Key players such as Raul Fernandez struggled in 2044, who finished up the season at a whopping .232 average after posting a .262 last season. Xavier Rangel, a superb CF just didnt get it done either hitting .234. Mausarek dropped below .300 for the first time in his career, finishing at .280.

Look for New Orleans to promote from within - and look for a big bat in Free Agency - perhaps at the corner OF position.
