Crawdad Chronicles 43.04 Donestavez breaks through

Juan Donestavez. https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 43014.html the 22 year old pheonom from mexico made a mark on the BBA this season. In his first full season, he put up remarkable numbers going .304/.378/.598 with 41 HRs and 115 R'sBI. To top it all off, he had 35 stolen bases and a +10.6 ZR in left field. A legit 5 tool player.

Donestavez was taken as the 15th pick in the much discussed 2038 draft. Like most of the top picks that year - Donestavez did not lump as was expected by many of the leagues top GMs.

He quickly moved up the minor leagues, and found his home in the big easy.

New Orleans was very thankful he came through this season. the rest of the outfield is in need of a repair. After spending over $50M this season on fernando Reyes https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 40253.html and Justin Jackson https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 36472.html - neither were able to do much. CF Xavier Rangel https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 40970.html - while great defensively and has good speed continues to struggle to get on base. Corner OF is probably again a position where New Orleans will look to in Free Agency again this year. most teams are swimming in OF talent yet somehow new orleans has it as a poistion of weakness.

New Orleans - incredibly- has little outfield talent in the minor leagues. nobody in AAA is ready to step up. Their top propsect list is littered with infielders - a good problem to have. But in order to win they are going to need to get better production out of the other two outfield slots in 2044.
