Juan Donestavez is a former 1st round pick. He is fast. Plays good defense. And has a big bat. He is your prototypical 5 tool player. The club is really looking forward to seeing what he can do with the club next year.

New Orleans has cleaned out some room in their outfield after announcing they will not resign Carlos Gonzalez or Virgil Shafer. Donestavez probably best pencils in in right field, although late in the season he started proving out his capability at the other side of the OF. He can also play Center Field in a pinch, although, at least for now, it appears 2040 rookie of the year Xavier Rangel has that locked down (although his uninspiring 2041 campaign has some in the front office worried)

For his part, Donestavez is very iterested in the food in the big easy. I cant wait to have dinner at the Commanders Palace! Jim Roberts tells me that place is great! Hopefully he will be feasting on more than cajun cooking. Some Rockville fastballs would also be nice.
