The New Orleans Crawdads announced today that they are unlikely to bring back some key peices of their club, instead allowing them to opt for Free Agency. In 2041, New Orleans total team salary was just 70M. 3 players made up nearly $25M of that. And today the club has announced none of them are likely to be back in 2042.

He is asking for about 11M/year to stay on, which is a high price to pay for a corner OF. Given some of the guys in AAA, letting him walk is a risk that the 'Dads will take. Look for him to potentially come back on a shorter deal if he sits in Free Agency a while.
