SP Jimmy McCabe (https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 10534.html) has been imortalized on the wall of fame around Crawdads stadium.

McCabe went 155-94 in a somewhat shortened career that had him stop playing at a relatively young age of 34. he twice won the Nebraska award, most notably with a remarkable 26-4 season in 2013 where he had a 2.84 ERA and a 3.13 FIP.

McCabe was always a great leader, and a fan favorite said GM Jim Roberts. We are very fortunate to still have him around teaching the young kids and the next generation how to play ball the way the Crawdads play ball.

The six time all star and 4 time Landis winner is now a pitching coach for the 'dads AAA affiliate in Havana after being promoted from the AA pitching coach last month. "I love teaching these new kids. We have a great farm system right now, and i know the Crawdads can win another championship. I jsut want to help anyway i can.

Kind of surprised he retired after that EBA season. But thanks for writing this one. I like hearing about guys like this, otherwise I probably wouldn't have know about him coaching.
