KT 62.45 - McLeod playing a fine fiddle while Flinn fiddles on the IL

Carl McLeod was called up to Des Moines after hitting .389 in 57 games at El Paso (AAA). Specifically, he was called up the same day after playing in the RHML All-Star game June 7, and has remained on the DM roster since. McLeod went 1 for 2 in the All Star game, jumped on a transport to Portland for a game that started at the same time and went 2 for 4. Yes, the magic of the mid 21st century.
So that's 56 days of ML service time and he's started 31 games, hitting .311. Last week, when Ken'ichi Okubo was the FL player of the week (.382-5-12, 1.358 OPS), McLeod hit .400 (8 for 20). McLeod is getting the bulk of the starts at first for the injured Huckleberry Flinn. Together, the two are hitting .317 in 454 at-bats, with 20 home runs and 69 rbis, mostly from the number 1 or 2 spot in the lineup.
