KT 62.35 - he said do you want to make $2000 to write a TN

And I said yes, wtf not? I know this TN will be worth $200,000 in BBA bucks, and I can use 2K the next time I land on Boardwalk. My name? Art I. Wrightwell. My friends call me AI. Or my Spanish-speaking friends call me IA. Amazing how that works. What's the atmosphere here on the road trip? It's kick ass. DM, that's the team they told me to write about, is now 22-22 on the road, thanks to the weak Pacific Division. 22-22, that's something to write home about. Only I don't have a home, I'm AI.

22-22, though. Let's imagine our favorite team can continue its .586 record at home through 81 games and .500 on the road. That's what? Um, hey, myself, figure that out. Result: 88 wins. Could be enough for a WC spot. Let's say that brings in $6mm. That will go a little against the projected downfall of $25mm, yup still the same figure as at the beginning of April. Hell, this team cannot sign anybody for a bonus. Not even a quarter (25¢) bonus. Couldn't even claim a guy on waivers even though his salary wouldn't push us over the salary cap. Damn.

Truth be told, the boss is terrified of facing Hawaii again. They're coming up at home right after this Game 4 at Long Beach, a team that maybe we can sweep. We haven't had a sweep yet. Maybe we can win one against the Tropics, who swept us, so they tell me, in the Aloha State last month. Whatever the case, then there's Bikini, who we'll surely take three or four from. I love counting my chicks before they hatch.

Some real, hard news?

Um, baby, let me sleep on it.

OK, Image is 6 SV, 0.52 in his Last 17 games. the 24-y.o. lefty has an ERA south of 1 since coming over here. He's getting a lot of saves lately, with Eveready set as stopper. Alonso González, still marked as an "Unknown," maybe because of five of his six saves for DM have come on the road. Eveready said he enjoyed getting a save (his 8th) against Long Beach. Maybe he'll do that again tonight. It'll be Alonso 'Sandman' Amaya (8-3) versus the Surfers Arturo Trevino, if he's not traded beforehand. Amaya's thrown two shut outs in his last four starts, and gotten touched for 11 runs the other two starts. So he's like a box of chocolates.
