Dear Mr. Beef, Chicago Sports Radio 88.8,
My name is Vespa Ramirez, and I am twelve years old. I am writing to you from Des Moines General Hospital. My twin sister Eva is in the CICU after a blackout. Eva blacked out when the umpires made a huge mistake and called the ballgame yesteerday. You know this gave the Black Sox an unfair win in the 7th inning. We had the tying and winning runs base and our best hitter, Matsunaga, at bat. We already scored two and there was only one out.
I know you are very popular and a big voice in Chicago. I am hoping you can help us because you care about fairness and doing the right thing. Even in a city as corrupt as Chicago.
In school, we learn about fairness and how everyone should get a fair chance. But when the game was stopped, it felt like something exploded inside. Poor Evita slipped into a coma. I felt my insides exploed. Everything we're learning at school isn't true. We were about to win, and the umpires just stopped the game. It wasn't even that rainy! I want to tell a joke about soggy nachoes, but I just canbt.
I have aasthma, and my breathing has been getting worse. It gets really scratchy and painful when I'm stressed. Dad lost my inhaler after the game, and we can’t afford a new one. I'm starting to get headaches. But I will suffer all this to bring back mi hermanita out of her blackout.

If the people who are supposed to be fair are being unfair, what does that teach kids like me and poor Evita? I don't want to end up like her. I don’t want to end up like those umpires. Chicago already has a bad reputation with people like Al Capone and Rod Blajogevick. Butt I know there are good people too, like you, Mr. Beef. I love Des Moines because people here, like Kid Krauss, are honest and good. Kid Krauss owns the Kum and Go stores. He donated a lot of money to my uncle to help run hus team.
Please, Mr. Beef, help us by talking about this on your show. It's only fair, and it will show that fairness still means something. OMG, Eva is blinking her eyes! I can’t write anymore
