Starting in 2055, the Des Moines Kernels Hall of Famers and Retired Numbers will be acknowledged here. This will include hitters, pitchers and individuals from the front office who should forever be remembered for their contributions to the team.

GM Edward Murphy - I was not fortunate enough to ever speak with Ed, but from what I have read on the forums and the podcasts, he sounded like a sweet man. His name will forever be in remembrance as the name of the ballpark in Des Moines, Edward Murphy Memorial Stadium. In addition, the team has retired the #0 jersey as there is no one who will replace Ed.
