2052.4 Nebraska Candidates

Despite a scuffling pitching performance overall, the Des Moines Kernels still have two pitchers worthy of Nebraska consideration. One of them is hardly a surprise, but the other is a shocker.
Norio Hayashi: Signed as a minor league free agent and only called up partway through the season, Hayashi put up incredible numbers despite falling 2/3 of an inning short of qualifying for rate based stats. He would have led the league in both ERA and FIP had he gotten those extra 2 outs.
Rankings (League rank in parenthesis)
WAR: 4.28 (5)
WPA: 2.29 (10)
Quality Starts: 15 (T18)
Wins: 12 (T20)
Alaric Wullenweber: Ole reliable Wullenweber had a down year by his astronomical standards, but still performed pretty well in comparison to the rest of the league.
K%-BB%: 12.59 (12)
FIP: 4.094 (13)
Walk %: 6.05% (15)
Innings: 188 (16)
WAR: 3.23 (18)
Quality Starts: 15 (T18)
