He Who Walks Behind the Rows. Vol. 3. Ep. 2
On the IL currently is Nori Knuckles. Knuckles was hit by a pitch by Ernesto Martas in the ninth inning on May 3rd. Word has it that he strongly considered fracturing Martas nose in retribution.
Currently on rehab assignment, starting pitcher Tsunesaburo Hashimoto. Tsune went down with back spasms before the season even started. Hopefully, he returns soon.
The biggest blow, was losing starter Bobby Lynch. Lynch wasn't having a good season by any stretch of the imagination, posting a 5.25 ERA, but he's been an innings-eater his last three seasons and his loss will put a strain on the bullpen.
Asked to comment on what Des Moines will do with this lost season, GM Webb shrugged "Fucked if I know!"
They say it don't be like it is, but it do!

Marta's hit him with a 72 MPH change up. That's what many people tell me.
