Des Moines Kernels press conferences have been a source of amusement of late for the local press corps.

Veteran beat writer for the Des Moines Register, Roh Rindfleisch, summed up the problem succinctly.

“Dude has two Juan Garcias, one Juan Lopes and one Juan Lopez and they’re all pitchers!”

GM Webb is often heard muttering to himself “I’m Juan confused sunuvabitch. Can I get at least get a Sixto or an Ocho to round this out?”
